16mm Film - Transfer to DVD
16mm film today can date back to the 1920's and in many cases the older film is in advanced stages of decomposition. This is often evident when the film starts producing a pungent vinegar like smell.
While not as popular as the 8mm film format due to cost of the 16mm camera equipment we do see a large amount of this format in peoples collections. Many commercial films and news reels were captured in 16mm and should be digitally archived to protect this valuable media.
